Focus and Scope
The Sri Lankan Journal of Physics is a refereed Journal devoted to physics and related areas. It is currently published once a year as an online journal. The journal entertains contributions in the form of review articles, research articles and short communications. Manuscripts written only in English are accepted. The submission of a manuscript will be taken to confirm that the work is original and previously unpublished, and it or a similar manuscript (other than an abstract) has not been previously accepted, is not currently under consideration, and will not be subsequently submitted, elsewhere for publication. The contents of the manuscripts are the sole responsibility of the authors. Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year and they will be published online in the current issue as soon as they are accepted for publication after the reviewing process.
The journal has a Print ISSN 1391-5800 and an Online ISSN 2478-1193. The Bar Code is 9 772478 119003.
Article Processing Fees:
The Sri Lankan Journal of Physics (SLJP) does not charge fees for submission or processing of manuscripts.
All articles published in the journal are deposited with Crossref
Publication Frequency
The journal is published annually.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving Policy
This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
